How we test products
Our mission is to take the guesswork out of finding the perfect sleep products.
We've dedicated hundreds of hours to testing mattresses and sleep accessories, and rely on a team of testers of differing weights, temperature preferences, and sleeping positions to evaluate each product.
Tested products are granted the Sleep Hero tested stamp of approval, a mark of our review's reliability.
If we haven't personally tested a product, please be assured that we invest significant time and energy into scouring the UK market and researching the best recommendations, and we work with a team of sleep experts who review our articles, ensuring that the insights we provide are not only relatable but also reliable.
Panda London bedding UK composition
Panda London offers a range of bedding products made from bamboo and linen.
The main features include:
- Luxurious and eco-friendly bamboo and linen bedding.
- Breathable and moisture-wicking materials for temperature regulation.
- Hidden duvet straps and concealed zippers for convenience.
- Hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties for sensitive sleepers.
We take a closer look at each of these features further down. 👇
How comfortable is Panda London bedding?
Our Sleep Hero reviewers tested both bedding sets from Panda London and concluded that the two ranges adhere to different comfort preferences.
Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding is silky soft and very comfortable from the outset.
Bamboo fibres are elongated and lie perfectly flat against one another to create that smooth, slippery feel. 🎍
After a few washes, our testers found the 100% bamboo bedding became even softer and had a more 'lived-in' feel.
On the other hand, Panda's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding has a much coarser texture at first.
French linen is made from the flax plant, and these fibres are naturally coarse, creating a rougher feel.
For this reason, linen is often blended with another material, like bamboo or cotton, to make the fabric softer and more comfortable as bedding.
Although Panda combines bamboo with French linen, our Sleep Hero reviewers found this blend still irritated their sensitive skin and left them itchy.
After a few wash cycles, the bedding became much softer and more comfortable.
Linen and bamboo also have excellent breathability and moisture-wicking capabilities, helping you sleep at a cosy temperature. ❄️

Panda bedding UK for kids and babies
Panda London offers a wide range of products for your little ones.
Panda bedding for kids, toddlers and babies includes:
- Duvet covers
- Fitted sheets
Like the regular Panda bamboo bedding, the Panda baby crib bedding and kids' sheets have temperature-control properties to keep your little one comfy at night.
They also have natural antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties, making them an ideal choice for sensitive skin, eczema, and allergies. 🤧
The kids' sheets and duvet covers are available in the 100% bamboo range in three colourways: Pure White, Vintage Pink and Quiet Grey.
Panda does not offer bamboo and French linen bedding for kids.
The kids' duvet cover has a concealed zip and is available in one size: 120 x 150 cm (47" x 59").
The bamboo fitted sheet comes in two sizes for babies and toddlers:
- Cot bed: 70 x 140 x 15 cm (27" x 55" x 6”)
- Cot: 60 x 120 x 15 cm (24” x 47” x 6”)
These sizes fit EU and UK cots.
Expand your Panda baby bedding set with pre-washed muslins, ready for your baby to snuggle into.
They are sold in a pack of three with different adorable prints, including London-themed and panda bear designs.
The muslins are available in a square size of 70 x 70 cm (27" x 27") and a swaddle size of 120 x 120 cm (47" x 47").
How much does Panda London bedding cost?
Panda bedding is a luxurious product that comes at a higher price point between £145 and £200 for a double-sized complete set. 💸
The bamboo and French linen bedding is the most expensive product in the Panda bedding range, followed by the 100% bamboo set.
This price point is fairly competitive compared to other sustainable luxury bedding on the market, such as the Aeyla Eucalyptus Silk Sheet Set, which is over £250.
Kuddly offers a 100% bamboo bedding set for a lower price with fantastic TrustPilot reviews.
However, upon closer inspection, this set only includes a fitted sheet and two pillowcases without a duvet cover, hence the lower price.
They also only have two colourways, limited sizing options and no trial period.
In comparison, Panda offers a one-year guarantee to protect your purchase and a 30-day trial period.
Panda bedding discount codes

Does Panda London bedding come with a trial period?
Panda London offers a 30-night sleep trial so you can make sure your investment is worth the cost.
You can sleep, wash and dry the bedding to make sure it fits all your requirements.
