The Eve Original is an excellent memory foam mattress with a depth of 24 cm (9 feet and 4 inches).
It comprises three different high-quality foams and a washable cover that work together to provide superior comfort, support, and breathability.
The three foam layers of the Eve Original are:
- Evecomfort foam
- New-generation memory foam
- High-density base foam
The Eve mattress results from four years of research and development, 100 prototypes, and 70 000 consumer tests.
It stands proudly as the most comfortable mattress ever made (as claimed by Eve Sleep) 🏆
All foams used in the mattress are of high quality and have high densities, which is a testament to the mattress's durability.
Eve mattress layers
1. A top layer of Evecomfort® foam
The Eve mattress's top layer is made of 2.5 cm (0.9") open-celled foam that's both porous and breathable.
This wicks moisture and heat away from the body, allowing for greater breathability and a cooler sleep 😎
At a density of 50kg/m³, this is also a very high-quality, durable foam that offers stability so you won't feel like you're sinking into the mattress too deeply, which can be uncomfortable.
2. A core of new-generation memory foam
The 3 cm (1.1") core layer of visco-elastic memory foam provides most of the Eve mattress's comfort and pressure-relief capabilities.
At a density of 60kg/m³, this is a very high-quality foam that is unlikely to sag or form dents.
The memory foam layer adapts perfectly to the contours of your body, reduces tension and pressure, and allows for a comfortable night's sleep with body-hugging support.
3. A base layer with contour zones
The 18 cm (17") thick base foam sits at a density of 36kg/m³ and provides much of the mattress's support and stability.
It is fitted with seven contour zones, which have been specifically designed to help relieve hip and shoulder pressure, allowing your body to sink in where needed and be supported where required.
This makes the Eve mattress a great orthopaedic choice as well, and you're unlikely to wake up with lower backache or tension.

A no-flip mattress
The Eve mattress has been designed to only be used one way up, so there's no need to ever flip it over.
The mattress should be rotated every six months, though, or every four months if you're of a larger build.
How thick is the Eve mattress?
